2026–27 Season

Minnesota Ballet Theatre is currently accepting applications for our Company Trainee and Company Apprentice programs for the 2026–27 season. The season runs from September 2026 through May 2027. Video applications are accepted.

PROGRAMS

Company Apprentice
Apprentice positions are designed for advanced dancers ready to gain experience in a professional company environment. Apprentices participate in company classes and rehearsals and may be offered performance opportunities throughout the season.

Company Trainee
The Trainee Program is a pre-professional program for dancers 18+ seeking to further develop their technique, artistry, and performance experience. Trainees participate in an intensive training environment and may be selected to perform in Minnesota Ballet Theatre productions.

SCHEDULE

Classes and rehearsals are typically held:

• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM 
• Saturday: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM 
• Additional rehearsals may be scheduled prior to performances. 

Schedule subject to change.

COMPENSATION & TUITION

• Trainee and Apprentice positions are non-salaried. 
• Apprentices may receive performance-based stipends for select productions. 
• Trainee positions are tuition-based and include professional-level training, rehearsals, and performance opportunities.
